RTC360 Cleaning

Post by Pieda »

Good day.

We have a RTC360 that sees some dirty places around our country. What can i use to clean the scanner and remove the dirt from the scanner?

At this stage i am only using water and a damp cloth but some of the stubborn stains still remain. Are there any chemicals i can use? :)

I've used ROR (Residual Oil Remover) for many years with great success. I've tested it on mirrors, lenses, and equipment shells, and plastic/metal trim. Combined with a microfiber optical cleaning cloth it gently cleans just about everything without streaking. Read the equipment and ROR recommendations first, then test it using the fresh microfiber cloth.

I recommend to use the micro fibre cloth, Leica article 771349, for the cameras and lens.
