Re: Leica RTC to Recap
thanks for the update on maybe time lines. I feel like I get tons of emails from Leica but I don't recall being on a webinar list. I should figure out how to get in that.

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
Do any of the Leica team have an update on this?
We now have our RTC have two large projects that both clients have asked for photos / recap as deliverables. The idea of having to 5 min scan with our faro is making me feel tired already.
Also , I assume this will also work with scans that use the Istar for images?

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
The release has been pushed back to WC 13th, with a webinar demonstrating the new features on the 15th. If you can hold off a couple of weeks you should be all good
Regards,
Tim

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
I need to update everyone on this thread regarding image export in e57 for ReCap.
We were testing a special e57 export to ReCap and the early test results were positive, so positive that I posted here that we will have this feature in our next release.
I am sorry to report that we hit a roadblock as the fix involves support from ReCap which we are not going to get in time for our next release.
We will have RCP export of colorized points, but without image support, for our next release.
We hope to have image export support for both e57 and RCP in our Q3/Q4 2019 release.
I apologize for the error.
Guy

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
If you are looking for other ideas for the next release, feel free to add Cyclone -> decimated and unified rcs tiles .. parameters for decimation size and tile origin and size ...

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
May 22nd the new Register 360 will release. Option to export 1 or as many 360 images as you want. Also you can export complete projects without point cloud data.Bstallan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:56 am Hi,
We are looking at buying a RTC and recently had a demo but we can not get the HDR images into Reacp.
We are currently using Faro scanners and have a client that request the scan data as a Recap project with photos in the 'bubble' views. We recently had a demo with the RTC and exported the data from Cyclone 360 as .PTG & .PTX but both formats come into Recap as a colored point cloud. What we want is the images (with the point cloud underlaid). Is this something that can be done?
I've attached a couple of screen shots:

Re: Leica RTC to Recap
I have another question re Cyclone to Recap:
Our scans are coming into Recap really dark. We can amend this is Cyclone by changing the Global Colour Map Parameters but when export to Recap this reverts back to the original setting. Has anyone else seen this?
