Leica BLK360 Data Manager – Product Release
Leica BLK360 Data Manager – Product Release
A “Suspend/Resume” button has been added to the BLK360 Data Manager interface. Users will find this feature particularly helpful as it allows them to Suspend a download to swap batteries and then Resume the download once power is regained and the device reconnected via Wi-Fi.

Still having major issues connecting to the BLK360
Have loaded the new v1.4.2 Data MAnager. It connects to the BLK and I can see the scans but the next step of choosing the scans and then a download folder location ends up NOT initiating a download. It just hangs and then returns a message saying it can't read the battery, when I choose OK, the greyed out RESUME button is illuminated and if I try to resume, it throws up yet another error message similar to the error from two versions back.
Has ANYONE who is using a BLK (Non-Leica factory or reps) actually successfully downloaded data only with the standalone BLK360 Data Manager?
I have yet to see anyone reply to this, so any additional help would be appreciated.
Silence I take as, "there is no solution yet". So another piece of software that isn't fully functional yet, but with good intentions.....
Also, is there any explanation as to what the EV numbers relate to (Exposure Value??) Do these possibly need to be adjusted per lighting conditions even with HDR enabled?

Try downloading straight to the desktop rather than the standard folder it wants you to use.

Followed that procedure and still gives these error, after I try and point to the desktop, then I pick ok which makes the error go away and the I try to pick "resume" which seems to be doing something (spins a little) and then returns a different error

I got the BLK Data Manager downloaded setup and copied off the .blk files.
How do you load the .blk files into Cyclone? I have not been able to find an import options in 9.2.0 Cyclone, ReCap or Cyclone Register 360.

James,
James,
I have had the same experience.
I cannot connect to the blks because of our network security. They just do not appear in the cyclone interface.
I thought perhaps the data manager might be a solution for us but it appears there is no way to bring the transferred files into cyclone if you do not import them directly as a batch using the corresponding tool.
Gracious. What in the world is going on over at Leica these days?

What program dose accept .blk files form the BLK360 Data manager?
Right now it backs up the BLK 360. That's good but what good is a backup if you can't access it.
I must be missing some step or something.

Re: Leica BLK360 Data Manager – Product Release
It had me fooled initially .. I expected the option to be under where you import all the other Leica scanner raw product ..
No .. it is under the generic import section ..
Now it just had me fooled again .. I know I had done it before but just went to validate what I am telling you guys and it didn't seem to "work" again.
My old data had *.blk extensions .. not sure if the latest data manager uses that same extension or not - I haven't used the thing for a bit.
Either way - under "Import ..." - Cyclone it seems is now expecting file extensions *.blk360 .. rename the files and the show up. See image.

Re: Leica BLK360 Data Manager – Product Release
What version are you using?
I am on 9.2.0 and that option is not present on the import menu for file type. It looks exactly as you posted, but there is no entry for anything blk360 in the list.
