Can you suggest which soft is the best for 3D modelling

Please post any tips or advice you have in general relating to laser scanning either whilst onsite or office based.

Can you suggest which soft is the best for 3D modelling

Hello!

I'm wondering which software is the best for 3d modelling based on point cloud (Trimble SX10 scanner). Currently im working with modelling of waterworks instruments on trial version of Trimble Realworks - cool soft, very intuitive, final effect is fine for me. I've also tried to model in SketchUp but honestly i didn't like it cause what im working with is really close to BIM models.

Do you have any experience with other software that i can try to 3D model?

Revit is what we use for BIM models. Rhino 3D for complex modelling (ships hulls etc...)
