French translations of Geodetic terms?

Post by Daniel Wujanz »

Hello there,

I'm genuinely lost in translation!

I'm looking for a) translations of two Geodetic terms into French and b) literature references to where these terms can be found.

Regarding a: does anyone know how "partial redundancies" and "standardised / normalised residuals" are called in French?

Concerning b: is there an adjustment calculus bible or standard surveying book in French where these terms can be found?

Je dis merci beaucoup

Daniel

Dear Vincent,

thank you very much for your help. Yes, of course - I'm trying to explain established geodetic quality measures and how they could be useful in laser scanning.

I'll get in touch with them, that was a very got hint!

All the best

Daniel
