Ditto... I have had some ill-health in the past year, so hopefully, what with a baby due in April I will be much better! BTW, snowing here in UK... we're so ill-prepared it's hilarious :lol:

I very well remember a day where I landed in Edinborough in January 2004 or so. It had a lot of snow (maybe 5cm) ;-)

The lady at the rental car desk replied my question for winter tires: "Oh no sir, we never have winter tires on our cars. But the normal ones are very new" :oops:
After that, she told us, that we might not even get out of town due to the "heavy" snow...

We quickly decided to take the road along the coast instead of the the way through the mountains to Newcastle. There it was somewhat OK.

But I liked the way you guys on the island are prepared to something else than rain :lol:
