Hi,

Just a short message that my unity point cloud viewer plugin
will be on 50% sale on this coming 6th July (24hr sale).

In short,
this plugin allow displaying point clouds in unity using DX11 shaders,
or converting them into point meshes.

Adding small update info here:
recently i've added support for large point clouds to my unity viewer plugin,

level of detail system (points are split into grid, and then it shows decreased amount for tiles that are far from camera, also tiles outside of camera view are not drawn) *click to view gifs

HeadsUp: this plugin will be on 50% discount at the coming unity asset store sale.

Start: April 14, 2020 23:00:00 Pacific time
End: April 29, 2020 23:59:59 Pacific time

Also in the latest version,
for unity 2019.x and later, the v3 viewer loads points on demand (and releases memory for far tiles), so this would work for large clouds.
also eliminated most of the lags during loading data.

- V3 point picking and packed colors (better performance and less memory)
- open sourced point cloud converter https://github.com/unitycoder/PointCloudConverter *currently for LAS/LAZ into my V2 and V3 formats only (more formats will be added)
- experimental .pcache point cloud convert option (to use those files in Unity Visual Graph Tools for effects)
- Mac Metal shaders for v2 and v3
- several small improvements and bug fixes see release notes
