TRIKONEX - Laser Scanning Operators
Laser Scanning Operators

• Looking for all grades – manager, senior, intermediate, junior
• Graduate geodetic degree or post graduate degree or Diploma 1.
• Have at least 1yr experience with laser scanning on site, processing & production
of deliverables.
• Have experience with total station / GPS for survey manager > 15 years, for senior
> 10 years, for intermediate 5-10 years, for junior 2-5 years. Preferably with Leica
equipment.
• Good experience and strong knowledge of geodesy / survey theory.
• Familiar with data processing and ACAD to produce drawings.
• Experience in oil and gas or mining industry preferable.

General Requirement:
• Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
• Must be computer literate
• Driving licence
• Able to swim
• Passport

The Youtube vid shows the practical part of HUET (Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training) which is a minimum qualification required before personnel will be allowed aboard a helicopter to an offshore facility (i.e. platform, rig, etc.). Incidentally the mock helicopter as shown in the vid will usually submerge faster and will 'invert' (in random directions) which is entertaining to say the least :o

More often in Australasia at least the employee/contractor will need to hold a full BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training) certificate that as well as HUET also includes basic fire fighting and marine survival skills.
