3D Capture/ Laser Scanning Surveyor - Hobs Studio Manchester (UK)

Good Afternoon All,

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Manchester Studio for an experienced 3D Technician/Surveyor. The purpose of the role will be to provide on site survey and laser scanning duties providing information to our internal BIM modelling team. Experience using terrestrial survey equipment including laser scanners, total stations and GNSS is essential.

The suitable candidate will need to be proficient in performing a various measured survey duties and post processing, liaising with clients, discussing project specifications and generating quotations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience using Laser Scanners (ideally Leica) and a comprehensive knowledge of point cloud registration, again ideally Cyclone although training can be provided. Experience using Autocad and Revit is desirable, knowledge of photogrammetry and other 3D packages would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performing a range of measured building and land survey duties, primarily using terrestrial laser scanning.
- Production of pre-site documentation such as quotation, risk assessments and method statements
- Can confidently liaise with clients to establish a survey specification
- Post processing of survey information using Cyclone, LSS, Autocad, Revit

As some UK travel will be required, all applications must have a full UK Driving Licence.
