Geospatial Technical Support roles - KOREC Group

Post by AJB2015 » Tue Jan 15, 2019 2:03 pm

Due to unprecedented sales growth, we are looking to expand our field support provision in a number of regions throughout the UK (London, Bristol, Liverpool, SW and SE regions).

About KOREC
KOREC is Trimble’s largest distributor of positioning solutions and surveying equipment in the UK and Ireland. For over 40 years our mission has been to forge new and stronger business relationships that will underpin the future; for ourselves, our partners and our customers. We therefore specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAS and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals, all backed up by in-house software development and extensive training and technical support departments.

The geospatial world is expanding and with it, KOREC’s aims and ambitions.

Position Summary
We are looking for graduates or experienced surveyors/engineers to fill the roles of Geospatial Technical Support. Working around the UK Sales Region, the principle duties of the successful candidates will be supporting customers with technical queries arising from the use of Trimble Survey products, providing training to customers and creating support guides.

Candidates will need a degree in the Survey/Geomatics (or similar) field or proven survey/construction/civils industry experience. You will be organised, motivated and confident with an aptitude for handling IT issues and problem solving, plus a confident communicator.

Knowledge/experience of GPS is desirable; in particular Trimble survey products would be an advantage, however full training will be given.

Given the travel requirements, a full driving license is required as a car is provided with the role.

Why apply?
KOREC recognises the importance of having the right people in the right roles which is reflected by the high level of training and attractive package we will offer successful candidates including:

Competitive basic salary + performance related incentive
Company car & fuel card
25 Days holiday (+ bank holidays)
Pension scheme
Employee Benefits (Perkbox benefits, Corporate gym and Virgin Media discounts, cycle and technology purchase schemes)
Childcare vouchers
At the KOREC Group we are committed to developing and promoting inclusive behaviours that create and sustain equality of opportunity, fairness, mutual respect, dignity and respect for all.
