Webshare Cloud - 3D data not available
In a scan view, there is a box in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When I mouse over it, it states "3D data not available". What does this mean?

Re: Webshare Cloud - 3D data not available
This means that the new 3D view is not available for this project since the necessary point cloud data has not yet been generated. The project manager can do this in the administration area under “Project Management -> Create 3D Data”.

Just out of curiosity, why does this have to be manually started? I'd think it just happens automatically. Does it take a lot of processing on the server side or something?

Yes, it is a computationally expensive operation to create the point data in the right format, similar to the creation of a project point cloud in SCENE.
