Announcing HxDR: Visualize Your BLK Scans in a 3D Digital Reality
Hexagon has just announced HxDR, a new cloud-based visualization platform for reality capture!
HxDR enables you to upload, view, and share your laser scans to create a digital replica of the real world. Drag and drop your point clouds into HxDR and it automatically meshes your data. Visualize your meshed models alongside 3D CAD models or drop them into exact locations within our collection of 3D city maps.

Hi Phil,
I have just been looking into this and it looks pretty interesting. I am assuming it will be a subscription fee? Will this give access to the whole shared database for example to download the ground profile of a certain area? I like that you can create a private data base as well. A couple of questions, what happens in terms of copyright to the data once it is uploaded, does it mean Leica will then control and own that data? In terms of use, what would the main benefit be to someone like myself, a surveyor?
