Edges in Geo-plus VisionLidar

Post by Attila »

I started playing Visionlidar. I really like the way the software analyzes the planes. In Geo-Plus VisionLidar I modeled a wall with planes and now I want to extend/trim these planes down to get edges. Any ideas? For example, how do I draw the edges of a window?

I found a method:
1. Analyze/Planes
2. Survey/ Create polylines
-Create on plane: On
-Select the plane. (If you don't know which one, then in Explorer info button)
- Line or arc: On
3. Surface cursor/Pick on object
4. Start Pick (You will draw a line wherever on the specified plane.)
5. When you are done with all the necessary planes, export all to dxf
6. Use your favorite CAD software to Explode, Trim, Extend etc. these 3dpolylines.

If anyone knows a simpler method, I look forward to your education
