I am just starting to learn how to convert point cloud of a building to a BIM model in Revit. From what I understand, we first need to define levels at floor and ceiling levels. Then create a thin section box somewhere between floor and ceiling levels and look at it from the top view to trace walls.
I have a few questions:
- If I have a multi-storeyed building, I need to see each story in the elevation view and then mark each level. Is there an easier way to define levels?
- While tracing over walls, there are lots of objects not belonging to a wall showing up in the view. Is there a way to hide such objects which are not flat, or which are flat but less than a certain size so that wall tracing becomes easier?

Neerav.
