Hello Ioannis,
as we do B2B it is less common to have hotmail or gmail as company account. We would be happy to share further details, so in case you have a company mail-adress please use this one.

Ok, just being playing around with the sample data and I have to say that I'm mightily impressed with what I've seen so far. Uniformly spaced points resulting in a compact efficient point cloud with crisp colouring and detail all obvious noise removed. On the basis that most point clouds look good from a distance I decided to capture a few shots at a close level of detail to illustrate what has me impressed here;

Image

Full point cloud, zoomed out, showing one pixel per point in ortho projection to illustrate point density. Just 327 million points occupying 251mb in memory in SCC (873mb e57).

Image

Zoomed int, showing two pixels per point in ortho projection to illustrate point density

Image

Fire hydrant beside a door, plenty of points to show it and the wall as a solid (isometric, variable pixel size)

Image

10mm slice through same wall and fire hydrant to look for noise. Added a 100mm grid for reference

Image

Zoomed out and increased slice thickness to 50mm

Image

Output from SCC automatic vectorizing on the same slice, lines fit to 1mm, arcs fit to 3mm. Data is ideal for this type of analysis in terms of being noise free and evenly spaced. Also exceptionally fast for extraction given compact size.

I'm guessing the results here are due to the excellent NavVis point cloud post processing. While I can't comment on the absolute accuracy, the quality of the data at first glance seems remarkable. Like others, I'd be interested in hearing the price and also the post processing time and hardware spec required.

Lastly congrats to team NavVis, fantastic work!
