Post by dhirota »

A recent article by Carla Lauter of SPAR3D. I have not checked it out, but it looks interesting?

Just read about this myself on the BBC:

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-51951191

It is interesting but I wouldn't say it was ground breaking and knowing Apple, they will somehow make it so you have to purchase $2,000 Apple Glasses to view the data!

I’ve got an 11 pro with the Lidar. The App Store has Nothing serious for it yet... but the best version of this is from a company called Abound Labs (Nothing int eh App Store yet) but they are writing an app for the Lidar use in scanning - so far they have been posting some of their work on Twitter (Search Abound Labs) and you’ll see how powerful it is (And fast) but accuracy is another thing....
