OK, first impressions ?
It looks pretty interesting at first sight.
Still not capturing texture apparently :(
Still hard to get any numbers to go with the fancy videos. If you found anything please share!

No targets for the spark, but the spark captures texture. 1.5 million points per second capture rate :like:

The HandySCAN Black requires targets (you wouldn't get 40 microns accuracy without. This is a metrology grade scanner, so you wouldnt want texture

Looking closer I could actually spot the targets!
"Metrology grade" doesn't mean it can only do metrology jobs >> I want the texture !! :lol:

I'm sure its used on many other applications than metrology, but you wont get metrology grade accuracy without targets.

Creaform have launched another product called the GoSCAN SPARK. That does have texture.

Have you had a demo yet? I saw it earlier this week and it's very impressive.

Haven't had the chance to see it yet...
We just bought a RTC360 so we won't be able to get a Handyscan soon.
I know I will want one as soon as I see it :lol:
