Cleaning data from a P40

Post by Ioannis »

Ι want to ask if there any filter in pointcab or in cloundcompare in order to clean the noise of the data taken from a P40,
after the cleaning etc. walls will be much cleaner and thicker ?
Any suggestions or other methods will be much apreciated.

Clean it manually in Cyclone - then you have full control to switch on/off each scan, use limit box, fence etc and any other tools that work for you depending on the job.

There are a few posts on the forum about it, i think quite a few of the guys use the region regrow tool for roads.

Besides a P40 shouldn't have much noise if the Registration was done quite good and the walls will look very thick in the PointCab Orthophotos if the point density is high, which is another given with the P40 & the right scanning resolution.
