DotProduct -- DPi-8 with Rif Kick Light

Post by NOVAMECH »

NOVAMECH has had a DPi-8 Imager for a number of years now. Our most successful use of this to date was scanning the refractory within a large Combustion Chamber. So as to ascertain the build-up of material on the chamber walls and if any brickwork had fallen from the ceiling or walls. I used a number of packages to create the MESH Files and analyze the results. These being - Cyclone & PolyWorks --- Here is a link to how we set the Imager Up to obtain the data. From memory - 4 manways and hatches were opened to insert the device and capture the entirety. Accuracy was about 6mm - as I check measured the manway width and the manway mesh width with a tap measure. This was sufficient for the client --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2e1wrVlfIQ
