I see your point, but I think I know why this is not an option on the C10.

The MS50 scans up and down and can be limited to recording certain points, like the older 2500 scanner. This means that you can draw a fence and only scan what is in the fence, thus saving time and data size.

The C10 can scan up and down or scan in constant rotation. It's not really designed to work in the same way as the MS50 - but the C10 is much faster and the data size would not be much different.

I personally don't think it's necessary to have on the C10.

There have been numerous times where the polygonal fencing would come in handy especially with the building setup in NYC. But I will take the speed of the C10 over its predecessors, but it would be a nice option.
