Whats the best solution for cleaning the scan window of an SS2?
I mean, which cleaning liquid (assuming you should use one!), and cloth?
The scanner has been rained on one too many times!
Suggestions most welcome!
Tim

Re: Cleaning the Scan Window
Hi Tim,
As Phil describes above, Techspray do offer an excellent range of cleaning products and we certainly have been happy with the Isopropyl Alcohol wipes.
I`m not sure, but I think Leica do supply a cleaning solution pack for their laser scanners....I will give Milton Keynes a call tomorrow and find out for sure, and post the results here.
I dont know if any other laser scanner manufacturers offer such packs, but it would be interesting to know.
Best regards,
