C10 SCANNING TO A EXT SSD USB DRIVE

Post by Wags »

This usb drive is about as big as the plastic dust cover that came with the scanner.
I made a project name and called it "template" save it to External drive
Then named all my targets in the template project
After that then shut down the scanner and remove the usb drive
now on my computer I insert the usb drive and make copies of the project called template
then rename template folder to the name of the project I am going to scan
now when I go scan that project I put in the usb to the c10 and point it to the project name
and away I go no more need to name a targets in the projects their already their
NOW IF LEICA COULD HAVE THE PROJECT SAVE IN TWO LOCATIONS AT THE SAME TIME
like internal and external no need to export the job and have a extra copy just incase you loose
the mini 32GB USB drive

I will pass this onto the product management team to see if it's a possibility. I use the same USB stick.
