Hello. I am looking for a link to the P40 user manual so that I can understand all the scan settings and icons on screen before I go out to site tomorrow, please can anyone point me in the right direction? I had a look on Leica Geosystems site and I am sure it is there but I couldn't spot it. Thank you. Tom

Re: Leica P40 user guide
I will be on myWorld Tom - do you have an account? If not, contact the company you've hired the unit from to get the PDF - but in fairness, if you've used a C10/P20, you will be mostly fine.

Re: Leica P40 user guide
You'll just need to register on the Leica website.
As a general rule (from bitter experience) if anybody supplies you kit like a P40 and not a manual then I would read into this that you perhaps should check the scanner calibration carefully before use to see what other little problems you've been rented.. Certificates are irrelevant.
Just a thought.
Richard.

Not me, I don't work for the UK Selling Unit anymore mate...Thomas Goodliffe wrote:Thank you Paul yes I do so I will look there (btw its hired from you!) Tom
All Scanners are checked when returned and when shipped from a rental by our PDI team in MK. If a scanner is not in calibration, quite simply it will not be shipped. We have strict tests which have to be passed before a unit arrived with a customer.richard_m wrote:You'll just need to register on the Leica website.

Re: Leica P40 user guide
I would use the P40 simulator instead to learn the new features. I've demoed these new features online many times to existing customers via a webcast.
It's on our FTP site of you need to download this?
