.BLK Files all less than 1kb using data manager

Post by zyborgmonkey » Tue Jun 05, 2018 9:50 pm

I don't know what's going on with this again, it seems like every time I use the BLK360 some issue comes up!

So this time around I've picked up 60 scans and have come to download them via the data manager and usb WiFi dongle. Have done it previously with no issues.

This time however I left it running and for what ever reason once it hit 33 data manager crashes. Also on checking the files downloaded so far they seem to all be less than 1kb in Windows this time even though they took the standard time to transfer.

No HDR images. A few Hi Res the rest Med

Re: .BLK Files all less than 1kb using data manager Solution

So I think I've found the reason although doesn't explain why each file was so small.
I've been transferring directly to my SSD which only had about 9GB left on it so presumably the reason for the crash was that it ran out of space.

Solution was to copy to a Folder on the desktop instead which seems to work ok so far

I suppose you have the newest data manager v1.5 just came out in August. We had the issue earlier when using a USB Wifi mini plug. It was our network not allowing the download from an external network (seeing the BLK360 internal network as a rogue network). We're a county government and the Hardwire network was on at the same time we were connecting to the BLK
