I would use CC to clean the data and reduce the noise, not to make 2D plan

Looks like you have loaded the data into pointcab as mobile data which sets the resolution wrong. You need to select terrestrial data and it will come in nice and crisp. I think sometime it defaults to mobile data on import so you just need to change it to static.
