GeoSLAM announce new ZEB Go scanner

Post by grahamhunter »

The Zeb Go is launching today, a familiar hardware design, re-engineered to meet the demand for lower cost handheld SLAM.

SLAM has come a long way since GeoSLAM brought it to market back in 2013, the algorithm is the best it's ever been thanks to the continuous improvement across the thousands of devices that have been sold.

It's never been simpler to work with GeoSLAM either, perpetual Hub licence (no credits needed) the option to add Draw software if you need it, GeoSLAM Care for peace of mind and ongoing support, software updates and up to 5 years of hardware warranty. All ZEB Go’s come with adjust to control as standard (you can read more about that here https://geoslam.com/blog/2020/08/20/hello-to-hub-6-1/). You also have the option to make it real time, with the ZEB Go RT.

The ZEB Go is available to you, today from €26,500 and we'll have some available under our demo in a box program, so if you've thought about GeoSLAM in the past and want to try it out, you can apply to do so, free of charge for 7 days. https://geoslam.com/demo-in-a-box/

You can find out more about the ZEB Go, and the rest of the Zeb family here: https://geoslam.com/solutions/zeb-go/.

Sample data can be viewed and downloaded from https://geoslam.com/sample-data/

Great to see GeoSLAM with another new cost effective device, I look forward to playing around with the sample data when I get a few moments.

It's with GeoSSLAM Hub + 1 year care package, but excludes GeoSLAM Draw.

It is a re-engineered Revo with a different scan mechanism. We realised that we could provide great value to our customers by down-grading the scanner mirror speed from 100 Hz to 40Hz. In the ZEB Go, you can see more scan lines compared to the ZEB Revo (where you get a more even grid of points) - but after filtering or decimation there is not much difference. This has allowed us to reduce the price - so we can get more people started with handheld scanning.

The ZEB Go RT is a great addition to the Real-Time ZEB Family, look at the product card here https://bit.ly/32p2Bde
It is the perfect tool for affordable data capture that produces amazing looking data. The ZEB Go should be a standard tool in the toolkit of any person or company looking to get into handheld scanning

This is a very late post, but where does the filtering happen? Hub does have any of these tools yet does it?
