Thanks Scott, just had a look at this data now in SCC. There are two models, a road bridge and UAV mounted aerial scan. Looking at the bridge, at first glance the data seems very noisy with ~100mm noise on the bridge struts. The bridge deck, which would be much closer to the scan head, is way better and shows ~35mm noise. There could well be movement on the bridge, so maybe not an ideal structure to use for testing. It would also be useful to know whether the scan was done hand-held or with a backpack. Having processed a number of Pegasus backback jobs in recent months, the Pegasus data seems less noisy, which could in some part be due to being on a backpack rather than hand-held. Increased data density does provide greater scope for automated post-processed noise elimination, which is a big advantage over the ZEB-Revo. I'd be interested in seeing some internal building or cave scans where this unit could potentially be very strong.

UAV data is really clean with a 200mm thick slice showing ~35mm of noise, which leads me to suspect that the IMU and SLAM mechanisms benefit hugely from a steady platform and constant velocity.

Following up with the Hub users- Does Hub provide a means to reduce the noise that is generated from the Horizon?

As far as I know there is an option to reduce the noise in planes (like walls, floor, etc).
This will of course not work for any other shapes which are not flat.

Hello Ioanni,

Regarding to the price list, you will need to contact your dealer or send an email to [email protected].

Sample data-sets can be found on our GeoSLAM website -> Sample Data. On the sidebar menu, there is a section where you may download the data too.

Please, see the links below.

Let me know if something is unclear or you need any further assistance.

Regards,
Ektoras

Thought I'd share some recent output from the ZEB Horizon:

***Chemical training plant*** captured using the ZEB Discovery [the wearable ZEB Horizon + high res camera] note the ZEB Horizon can easily be removed from the backpack and used on its own as a handheld scanner.

https://samples.geoslam.com/Potree/Chem ... Plant.html

***Underground tunnel / street scene*** data fly through using the ZEB Horizon, transitioning from underground to above ground in the same scan
