What is the weight of this scanner? If it's being marketed as a UAV/Lidar type scanner, I'd imagine that would be pretty important as well.

Looks like they've maybe moved to a Velodyne puc sensor.
Can't be any worse than the junk used on their previous units that had about 50mm of noise in in.....

It's overall in regards of scanning time, so when comparing it to static scanners one needs to compare it to the registered data, not the single point accuracy.

impressive kit we demoed last evening in our London office. Main impressions were the increase of density of the data and it's more forgiving to use as the increase in points make the slam less likely to loose its vision.
