Bypassing IMAlign in the workflow

Post by ExcelUC »

Hi All,

Just wondering if people have been using the new function in IMInspect to bring in spherical scanner data, align and then mesh, using the "quality meshing" function.

Our current workflow is to bring the scans into IMAlign as a .fls and then align the scans before bringing into IMInspect, then mesh using "wrap mesh around points".

Bringing into IMInspect seems like a great feature however as we dont have a license for IMMerge so the "quality meshing" function isn't available.

Just wondering if anyone has done both and if we are missing out by not having IMMerge?

Thanks
Cliff
