Images From ZF5010 I-CAM
Hi LC - People,
Just getting to grips with this system. I would like to ask
I have our new ZF5010x here in Auckland New Zealand, have been playing about with the I-Cam and smart light.
However, with in LC when I try to apply the colours or make a panoramic image - both my Microsoft Surface when using Scout and my HP Elite book when using LC - Crashes. I'm doing something wrong.
Any Tips or Tricks ?

We will be getting a demo 5010X in 8 days. In the interim, what version of LC and Windows are you running.
Our normal work flow, we FTP the project files from our 5010C to a workstation running W7sp1 and then batch process for the coloration of the scans and have never seen LC crash in three years and thousands of scans of I-Cam coloration.

Judging by the color of the files in the background, it looks like the images are colored Red. In LC, that generally means the images were sourced at one point, and then moved from their original location. Make sure all of your scans and images are in a folder together on the computer.

We are running LC 8.7.0.15169, which you would need an new 8.7 license to run. We could also run the coloration for you as well to check a few scans to debug it.

WOW - Thanks for the offer.
Yes, I am to demonstrate this new unit & Laser Control on Friday, have used Cyclone for the last 7 years - And I'm a little stuck and I don't know what I am doing wrong. And support is off - sunning them selves. NICE, its cold and muddy in NZ right now.
Anyway - If I could up load the original files to someone in the next 24 hours that would be great.
Can you please email me - at - [email protected] and I will package up and

Re: Images From ZF5010 I-CAM
Nick placed his 4 scans from his Z+F 5010X onto a FTP site, and I down loaded the scans. The coloration using LC crashed with an error message that the SP2 was missing a calibration file that is generated with each scan project. The problem was that the calibration file was definitely there in the project file.
I was able to generate SP1,3,4 scan coloration manually, but could not figure out what was wrong with SP2.
With the help of Joe at Z+F USA, we figured out that somehow there were some SP1 images in the SP2 folder. Once the SP1 images were removed, the SP2 scan coloration processed OK.

Re: Images From ZF5010 I-CAM
I should have included this screen shot to show that somehow there were SP1 photos in the SP2 folder. Maybe this happened during the transfer of the project from the 5010X to the workstation or tablet.
Something to check if you have this problem in the future.
