Hi,
I'm using v2.8.
I have scanned spheres inside of a building and I am trying to georeference the spheres.
The problem I have is the ceiling is in my way of selecting the spheres.
How can I reduce the cloud to select the spheres - without permanently removing the ceiling part of the cloud?
Any ideas?

Re: Spheres
You have two options:
1) switch to 'perspective' mode (F3) so that when you zoom in the ceiling disappears (optionally you can also increase the 'near clipping plane' relative position via the 'Display options')
2) Actually segment the cloud, use the cropped version to perform the registration and eventually copy the registration transformation (in the Console) and apply it to the original cloud with 'Edit > Apply transformation'
Hope it helps
