Combining point clouds

Post by EdPhill » Fri Jan 08, 2016 3:28 pm

New user to A4D...I have two files one of over a dozen scans registered from one device; and another of multiple registered scans from a different device.

I am trying to combine the two projects in to one; but can't quite figure it out. I can open either one individually, but can not figure out how to import one project in to the other.

Any guidance appreciated.

Ed

If you already have converted to vpc you can import the point clouds with open (see screenshot).
You can also import right clicking in the view.
In the first case the coordinates are the original ones, in the other case the cloud is placed where you clicked.

Hi Ed,

Sorry I completely missed this thread.

Many Thanks
