92 mega pixel resolution... looking at the size of it on the tripop I guess it has bigger sensors inside. So this is better and cheaper than an iStar? The only thing that I see no mention of is ColourCloud.

I wonder if this Iris will be compatible with Cyclone / Scan data or is it just a better version of the older street view only device?

If the new iris360 pro is compatible with the Faro, leica, zf ... but does not replace Istar, what are the advantages of spending about 5-6000 € for an istar against about 3000 € of an irispro360?

$2899 will be the base price for iris360 Pro. You will be able to add our Measurements and/or ColourCloud firmware updates as optional priced add-ons which will then bring iris360 Pro to around the same price as iSTAR.

Is it upgrade-able later if we don't purchase it with the measurement and color cloud firmware? With the upgrades is there any advantage to the iStar over iris360?

Yes. It's a firmware update you can do at any time.
With the upgrades is there any advantage to the iStar over iris360?
Yes. iSTAR is IP64 rated and is very rugged. It also has a longer exposure range of 120 sec - 1/8000 sec. iris360 pro will have an exposure range of 1 sec - 1/8000 sec.
