I'm finding that when I import a group of structural elements, the vertical components do no show up.
For the record, it's not a visibility issue. The total number of imported items listed in the Edgewise import dialogue is too few by exactly the number of vertical members.
Has anyone else found/solved this issue? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Re: Structural import to Revit - no verticals
At first I was going to say that it could be due to vertical members for a floor level getting shown on the floor below. I think Revit still does this.
But reading all of what you are saying it sounds like they are excluded from the export for some reason.

If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

Excluded from the export seems right.
There is also some chance that they are being considered columns, and between the export and import functions, Revit is omitting them.

Re: Structural import to Revit - no verticals
Have you looked at the "Revit Valid?" column in the EdgeWise SmartSheet? Some of the type/role combinations are not supported and cannot be exported. This column will tell you whether it can be exported or not. You may need to change the role from "column" to Beam or Brace to get it to come in.
