Automatic classification in TRW 10.1: Vegetation

Post by afsernam » Fri May 27, 2016 3:56 pm

Hello guys,

Do you remember that Trimble RealWorks 10.0 introduced automatic classification of Ground, Buildings and Poles?

Well, some work has been carried out in the same direction in the new Trimble Realworks 10.1:
- The Auto-Classify tool now includes a 'High vegetation' class (e.g. trees and bushes).
- The performance has been improved (e.g. extraction is up to 30% faster for Ground, Buildings and Poles).
- The robustness has been improved (e.g. Auto-Classify now handles datasets with both indoor and outdoor scans.)

This is a short video showing these automatic classification features:

Enjoy it!

Cheers,
Andrés
