Photorealistic 3D modeling

Post by Lunov.D »

Hello everyone,

I want to share with you my work. Any evaluation will be helpful.
The 3D model was constructed using photogrammetric processing and laser scanning data.

Nice job! Stunning results - well done. What software are you using?

It's just a shame you put targets on the object itself (why not put them on tripods around the object?)

Hi Paul,
We used targets on the object to control the accuracy of the photogrammetric model.
The 3D model is created by a photogrammetric method and moved to point cloud as a reference object. Combining the technologies of laser scanning and photogrammetry allowed using the advantages of each method.
We used the programs Leica Cyclone, 3Reshaper and photogrammetric software.
Sorry for english.

Very nice model dmitriy,
And it sounds like quite a complete workflow allowing this nice result!
Any chance you can describe a little more about the different steps of the process?
