C3D’s primary product, TopoDOT®, is a software application designed to extract CAD models from point cloud and related geomatic data. Primary customer base includes surveying, engineering and construction companies active in transportation corridor and general civil infrastructure.
Candidates with technical sales experience preferably to larger technology companies and government agencies are preferred. Specific knowledge of laser scanning technology, CAD software and experience in the transportation engineering and construction market is a plus. Candidates with strong sales background in other technologies will be considered. Specific characteristics include:

Persistence to effectively execute longer sales cycles
Ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
General knowledge of business, technology and sales processes.
Business development manager will work with marketing team to expand existing TopoDOT® customer base within the UK/European market. BDM develop clear understanding of prospective buyer characteristics, identify qualified potential customers and communicate the TopoDOT® value proposition to them. BDM will work through the sales cycle coordinating C3D marketing and technical support. Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain periodic sales plan and objectives
Meet sales objectives
Support conference and exhibit activities
Identify current market conditions
Expand TopoDOT® presence across UK market
*Note – 50%+ travel primarily within UK/Europe and occasionally US.
C3D will offer a competitive plan comprised of base salary, travel budget and performance based commissions. Salary range will depend strongly on candidate’s experience and performance history. For candidates lacking in experience but passionate about working in a small business environment with much autonomy and potential for significant growth, C3D will consider technical ability, attitude and enthusiasm in place of direct experience.
