Re: What's Next for c2m?
First off, Awesome! Glad you guys are adding to the current list of features. I have a 3ds max guru on board now so we have been playing around with c2m recently and hope to utilize it for some cool new things. What does the render farm build do? Is it a background application that runs automatically on client machines so you can distribute the rendering process to other machines on the network? Also, can lighting calculations be distributed?
Forgive me if I am asking the wrong questions, but I am ignorant when it comes 3ds max and only have Microstation animation experience to compare to.

Jonathan,
Yes render nodes allow the distribution of the rendering to other computers.
It is really not a background application as rendering usually takes 100% of the processing power of the host computers..

Awesome product. Feature request #1: don't sell out to Autodesk / Bentley et al.
