Hi,
When working on a long report, every analysis (say surface levelness) will auto-create a chapter called surface levelness - which then appears in the footer of that page of the report.
As I rename my root folders to give them intelligent names, the chapter names don't update. Although the datasets listed on the right side do.
To manually rename the chapters (and therefore have that name appear in the footer) it is actually tricky to find the correct link. Usually, you need to compare the offset number to confirm you are looking at the right one.
Thanks,
request for chapters to auto rename according to root folder

Re: request for chapters to auto rename according to root folder
Hello Nelson,
This is an interesting feedback. We need to investigate this because there may be consequences in the report behavior. Auto-synchronization between report chapter names with the treeview chapter names is not as easy as it seams since 3CR supports different kind of report chapters.
For now, the data on the right part of the report editor is indeed synchronized and the left part that summarizes the list of chapters has been maintained user-definable to allow more flexibility but indeed less automation.
Could you tell the number of analysis you can have to do in one 3DR project ?
Thanks.
Yannick

Re: request for chapters to auto rename according to root folder
Hi Yannick,
The latest report had 54 surface levelness chapters, then some higher level groupings. So, all chapters were named surface levelness, it takes time to rename them all correctly. Perhaps a field in the report could reflect the analysis name from the right side and show in the footer?
