Colour on Mesh issue
Good day all,
I am new to using 3DReshaper. I created a mesh from point cloud and with the colour coming from the scanner. I exported it as a .stl file.
I imported the mesh into Autodesk 3DS max but the mesh came in without the colour.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Re: Colour on Mesh issue
Can you import a PLY or OBJ into 3DS Max? Both of those come in with color maps.

Re: Colour on Mesh issue
Hi everyone,
In order to export the color of deviation maps into OBJ, you have to create a textured mesh from the inspected mesh.
There is a dedicated tool for that in the Image menu: conveŕt to textured mesh.
Once the mesh is textured (and not only inspected), the exported OBJ will contain a nice image showing the deviations.
Hope this helps
