Electric line extraction

Post by gilles_3DR »

Hi everyone,

a colleague of mine just finalized some scripting automatizing the process of extracting electric lines in 3DReshaper.

See example:
LineExtraction.JPG
I am about to review and test it but I would like to test it on some other data than the one he had!
Any chance some of you can share some data containing electric lines and stress this new development?

Of course, the objective of this development is that the script will be available for download.

thx

They don't have a specific class for electric lines, but you might want to check out the recently released semantic-8 benchmark dataset:

http://www.semantic3d.net/

It looks like they've got a variety of different locations so there may be some good test cases in there.
