2018 version on line!

Post by gilles_3Dreshaper » Thu Apr 26, 2018 4:04 pm

All,
I'm very happy to announce that the 2018 version is on line!!

You can download it from here:
https://www.3dreshaper.com/en/software- ... rrent-beta
This page also contains the full release note!

This is the video showing the main features of this new version:

The MAIN new feature is a completely new report editor.
This new report editor is very easy to use, and it is very easy to create your own template.
All tools creating results in 3DReshaper are of course connected to this tool.
I am pretty sure you will find it as great as I think it is!! :D

Other new features I would like to highlight here are:
  • Stockpile measurement with a dedicated workflow (and report of course!)
  • When running the cross section workflow, you now have the possibility to create road-like sections.
And my favorite improvements are
  • Export to DXF/Send to AutoCAD (thanks everyone for your feedback in order to help us tuning this feature)
  • Point cloud rendering: smooth rendering has been greatly improved. You will have a new look at your point clouds :D

Nice feature to split point clouds by their RGB value.

Assembling scan data in a sensible way is often overlooked. Your annotation tools and layouts will be quite helpful.

Gilles,

Can the bar graph on the side be edited? I would like to remove the percentage text and graph line. I find these items are blocking the deviation amount text, which is all the client would want to see.

Hi Michael,
What is possible is to hide or show the whole gradient (percentage texts, graph line and vertical color map). To do so, just double-click on the inspected object in the tree view and look for the option to not display the color gradient.
