Creating a collaborative, laser scanning workflow in real-time for BIM and beyond

Monday 14th December, 2015

Laser scanning and volume data capture provides the mechanism to bring the real world into your digital office.

How do you manage these large datasets and collaborate seamlessly, across teams, to create a single source of data that bring projects to reality?

When collaboration is key, accessing point cloud data through BIM authoring software needs to be fast, simple and effective.
In this 45 minute session, Mark King and Paul Burrows of Leica Geosystems will guide you how to manage these datasets and utilise the point cloud to improve the efficiency of your scan to BIM processes.

You’ll discover:
• How to tackle the challenges of managing volume data sets from multiple users in a single source of data
• How to ‘close the loop’ on the scan to BIM workflow
• How to work efficiently in real-time, all-the time, regardless of the size of the project

See how the latest solutions such as Leica JetStream, when paired with CloudWorx, have revolutionised how reality can be captured in the field, cutting project time by up to 40 per cent.
