jmiranda wrote:David, I don't have the camera information in hand, as I'm out of the office, but the software used was Agisoft Photoscan. In addition of the point cloud I was able to create a DEM, a kmz, a 3d pdf and the regular ortho-rectified .tiff. I'll get back to you as soon as I get the camera info.

Yep, very familiar with Agisoft as I use it at least once a week, love it. I did just have someone from 3DF Zephyr reach out to me, I just got a trial version of their software today so Im about to test it out between Agisoft and VisualSFM.

David,
I would love to hear comparisons. IMO they probably all use the same base technique - so I don't know if there will be any difference. But would love to know if I am right or not :)

Well the biggest difference so far is price:

VisualSFM = FREE (for personal use, private licenses available upon request)
Agisoft = $3499
3DF Zephyr = $2900

Ill throw some rusults up in a Potree viewer once they are complete to see different results.

David (@dtmcnamara) the camera used for the point cloud on the video is an Intergraph DMC-148 with a focal length of 120mm
