Reflection value CC

Post by myvisuals »

Hello,

I have a RGB scan but just want to keep the "reflection values", not the colors.
It's sometimes better to keep the grey colors for modeling. But Vectorworks just keeps the RGB colors.

There was a topic on this forum but i could not find it... can somebody explane that to do?

Thanks !
Vincent

Hi Vincent,

open your pointcloud in CC and go Edit - Scalar Fields - Convert to RGB. It will use intensity values (Scalar Field in CC) to create RGB values. Save the pointcloud and open it in your modeling package. I use it with ArchiCAD and it works well.

Regards

Jiri
