Re: Mobile Back Pack
I met with Avideh four years ago to see one of the earlier prototypes. We had plans to jointly scan the University Art Museum, to compare the data from my FARO Focus 120 with her backpack data. Due to (art) copyright concerns, the board of directors retracted the green light we had been given, and we moved on to other things. I still may have a shot to scan the (now empty) museum that is closed to the public because of seismic safety concerns... ~S

Re: Mobile Back Pack
My impression is that the backpacks and mobile (indoor) scanning have been around for ~4 years but they still don't seem to have caught on, hard to get too excited about. Or maybe I've missed the boat
