NVIDIA seems to be generating a bunch of new stuff, especially if you listened to the GTC Keynote by Jensen Huang today. Purchasing my A6000 today for MSRP US$4,650 and getting delivery by next week is like a early Christmas present for this year. The feature of running PCIe Gen4 is the most important thing for me since we have two AMD ThreadRippers & Pro running PCIeGen4 + they only take two slots versus 3 slots for the RTX30 and RTX20.

Looks like very few people are interested in the new NVIDIA GPUs. Maybe because they were just announced and no availability or pricing information. I decided to evaluate the differences between the NVIDIA models since there will be significant advantages of using the RTX GPUs in the future versus the AMD GPUs. The attached table is not complete, but gives me a quick evaluation of MSRP, VRAM, SLOTS USED, and PCIe GEN.
The MSRP for the A4000 and A5000 are guesses by some people. The availability from reliable sources are June 1 for the A5000 and July 1 for the A4000. If we pursue some of the future NVIDIA alternatives, I might have to swap out all of our current NVIDIA GPUs for minimum A4000s or A5000s, or I might have to purchase A6000s if I need them before July.

One thing to watch out on the A6000 is that it runs hot.
I render a lot of stuff on the GPU, and ended up adding a single slot double blower to provide extra airflow.
Performance-wise for me it made sense as I need to load a LOT of textures, but otherwise my 3090's are nearly as fast in the real world. And cheaper. A lot cheaper.
