RISCAN exported LAS file NOT showing RGB colors

Hi all,

I have a terrestrial LiDAR dataset collected using RIEGL VZ-400i, which was processed in RISCAN PRO.
Then, I exported that given dataset to a LAS (v 1.2 or 1.4) file from RISCAN.
But, when I open the exported LAS file in CloudCompare, I see the black points having no RGB information specifically around the scan positions (see the following figure).

Any help or advice to resolve this issue (i.e., displaying the data as seen in RISCAN PRO) will be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest when you are in the Export window that you check to see if you have "Keep uncoloured points" ticked off at the bottom of the window. If you have that ticked off, the export file will include all the points that were not coloured by the camera, thus giving you the black points.
