Python Cyclone string PyGeomType

Post by KirbX » Mon Oct 26, 2015 9:58 am

Hello everybody, it's me again.
I have a little problem, I'm trying to compare a something that have the PyGeomType and a string by

Code: Select all

if item_name=="PyCylinder":
but it always go to the else section.
But when I do

Code: Select all

 _cy_io.Print(item_name);
I have "PyCylinder" output that is the same word that i'm trying to compare.
Do someone know what happen?

Is it because item_name have the PyGeomType, and "PyCylinder" the string type?

Ok, I was searching too far,
you can convert item_name by using str(item_name)...
