Peter,

The Mill looks like a really interesting company.

I really like the advert for Santander with the Lego brick bridge, its great to hear how it was done.

I have had some basic experience using low end video tracking software such as Voodoo and 3DS Max to create Verified View Movies or VVM's for the architectral market, but it does not compare to whats possible with high end products like the Spheron or software such as Softimage.

The spheron has made huge inroads into CG VFX of late, I know of 2 other post houses that use it now and a spheron system for hire at Pinewood. Its knocking laser scanning of its perch as the best way to get 3d data from a film set.
the fact you its really a HDRI system makes it so much better, But there are other systems out there.

I used the spheron on the price of persia movie some to be in the cinemas
*see Giant Snake scene

I think over the next few years this is going to become the defalt way data will be collected on set.

Also I like the spheron guys here in the UK :)
